Totally amateur phone camera pics thread.

These aren't the best photos, or even particularly clear, but I love electrical storms, so one night I decided I was going to catch lightning with nothing but patience, timing, some good luck, and my iPhone. I probably took & threw out over 100 pics, but totally worth it for the few gems I got! One of them I hadn't realized I even caught until I was going back thru and deleting!

Later that day, another friend walked one of her hairless cats over for a visit ... this is Prune >

Prune has a brother named Doom who does not do as well on a leash. She refers to them as the 'Its' :roflmao:

Took a trip up to Mt Soledad (La Jolla, CA.) this morning after my Sunday morning bike ride

I took about 10 pics, but I think these were the best ones

This is a top the mountain which is also a memorial for our fallen soldiers

And this is looking south at Pacific / Mission Beach and Point Loma

The bay you see in the pic is were I normally do my rides.....all the way around it is roughly 22 miles.

In honor of OP @two fingers, who has apparently gotten the boot. All these were taken on my Android 5, on the way to (or at) gigs.

Damn, I wonder what he did this time....

Not sure. There was a pretty spirited debate on a Gibson thread yesterday... maybe that was it.

Here's a few I had taken with an old BlackBerry. This was from a road trip to N. Myrtle Beach, at least 5 years ago. The corporate reception we were playing was at the House of Blues there, and they put us up for the weekend at The Prince, at Cherry Grove. 17th floor suites. My bass had its own bedroom.

I recently got back from a 12 day road trip with my fiancee. 5 states, 2400 miles or so. These were all taken with my LG phone:

We drove up to South Lake Tahoe first, staying for 5 nights with a concert (Third Eye Blind), beaches, and hiking at Emerald Bay.

Lake Tahoe, eastern shore:

Eagle Falls, above Emerald Bay at lake Tahoe:

From there, we took 2 days to drive up to Coeur D'Alene, ID to visit friends and relatives, and stayed there for 3 nights.

Another pic of the resort:

Next up, a drive over to Tacoma, WA, to visit my best friend and his family. We stayed for 2 nights.

Mt. Rainer, as seen from Tacoma WA:

And lastly, we stayed a night in Cottage Grove, OR but hit a couple of spots on way, the Vista House and Mulnomah Falls.

Mulnomah Falls, near the Columbia River gorge in OR:

I didn't take too many pics with my phone, most of the real good ones were on the dSLR, of which we had nearly 2000 pics LOL

Call me a weirdo but that's just beautiful.

I need to try some purple carrots. Do they taste different?
They do. Different varieties of carrots (even of same color) taste different - if you don't totally smother them in dressing.
