@catcauphonic When Merlot's kidney disease progressed to about that point we (at our vet's direction) started giving her IV water ("lactated ringers") a few times a week. It helped her considerably and she lived a few (2?) more good years. Wishing you and Chyna well.

After I lived in snow country for 14 years all I wanted after that was solid ground.

Construction site next to the building I work in. The building will probably be 15 - 20 stories max. They're drilling the piles which I guess have gone about 50 foot into the ground. Interesting watching how they build it.
