A rare snow day here in Dublin...

@catcauphonic , that is one interesting home!
I'm not sure I'd want to wake up there after a bad dream, but it does look like a treasure-trove of memories.
Very cool.

I must ask...the octopus bit in a jar? Care to explain it? I'm thinking some sort of voodoo sex ritual...:D
Good guess, but not exactly for that

One of the ladies of the house is into taxidermy, bone sculptures, and preserving things in jars that were once alive. Another one is into gardening and making portions of the inside look like a rainforest... I like to say one is in charge of the living things, and the other in charge of the dead things :D One of the other dudes works in a small candle factory. Anything you see that's purple or some sort of an animal print is probably mine :smug: It's quite the mish mash of styles that adds up to a lot of visual interest everywhere you turn.

The place is as equally interesting as some of the friendly characters that pass through it's doors  Luckily, our landlord is not an uptight fellow.

It's actually pretty warm and welcoming, and well lit during the day. Here's some of the downstairs plants >

:nailbiting:

Was the little bugger able to scamper down on his own, or did you have to call the fire department??

He got in and out of the tree no problem.
Really a great cat! He was the runt of his litter, and needed extra grub and much boric acid in his gooey eyes to make him viable.
I used to give him little pep talks about how he was going to grow up to be a world-beater, and I think he took the advice to heart.
