Just curious, what do the shelves look like at your local supermarket? Lots of soda but not a lick of bottled water.

No shortages up here. Friend in FL sent a picture of half stocked shelves. One good thing about the northeast..
Just went to two grocery stores (Eastern NC). NO chicken. Plenty of beef. Some kinds if bread (nit that I eat it). Hardly any biscuits. No flavored waters that my younger daughter likes. In short, hit or miss. Plenty if some things. None if others.
I live in upstate SC and was talking to one of the managers of a local grocery store in the area, and he said getting deliveries is harder now than it was in 2020 when Covid first hit.
Shelves were empty for half-and-half which I use for coffee. They were holding half gallons for the Starbucks in store, but he was willing to give me two of those. I only took one not wanting to hoard.

It’s just occurred to me that @catcauphonic hasn’t posted for a while. I checked his profile and he hasn’t posted since early November. Anyone know if he is OK? He used to be quite active in this thread.
Yeah I miss him. He has a great eye for photos and has contributed here in many other ways over the years.
