Albino Redwood. They usually don’t survive long because they can’t photosynthesize. This one is pulling nutrients from the main trunk.
Marinate chicken. Grill chicken. Crock pot simmer for 3 hours with homemade tomatillo sauce. Shred chicken. Simmer another hour. Scoop onto tortillas. Roll, place and cover with cheese and more tomatillo sauce. Bake. Destroy with my mouth.
I won’t be late for dinner!

Speaking of pics has anyone gotten a good shot of Jupiter? Last night it was just to the bottom right of the moon and very bright. My phone just made it look like a blur.
This is a poor picture. But the dot next to the moon is Jupiter. I only took it as a reference for location to share.
Got my son in NY and daughter in Houston outside to look at the same sky. Kinda minimizes the distance.
And that makes it a great picture.

Just a great day to watch flying cows
These guys saved one of my best friends life. He’s local and a surfer. Was found face down in the water by other surfers. This was the day in Covid when 2 other lives were lost in separate incidents. Luckily the other surfers knew what to do and got some breaths into him as they swam him back to the beach. It’s only because the others were DOA that they could divert the air ambulance to John. CPR for 20 minutes before the ‘copter arrived on scene. They still don’t know what caused his black out leaving him unconscious and taking in water but he’s made a full recovery and surfs everyday. His wife now volunteers as land crew for the lifeboat as a “thank you”.
Back down South visiting mum in hospital. Took some time out to visit my old childhood haunts - The Chantries Wood, Pilgrims Way (of Chaucer fame) and the River Wey where I used to swim as a kid:
