Taken 4 days ago. I know that in some places in America, the trees are already bare, but around here, the colors don't really start popping until late November/early December.
Never had a mid-winter rose like this before, surrounded by hips from the summer crop:
I had the same nativity scene complete with stable, wise men, animals, etc. for many years. This year, I got a new scene, and I decided to keep it simple - just the Holy Family:
Nice evening for a stroll in small-town Eastern Ontario.
So this morning early on my new octagonal window above the door was mostly frosted over but the sun came out and hit it but came through the outside chandelier and left this cool ghostly ice shadow of the chandelier on the window as the sun burned off the rest... Hauntingly beautiful in the way...

Took this photo last night when I was checking out neighborhood Christmas displays. We had little wind in our area, I can only surmise Santa’s reindeer were hitting the nog a bit too much.
