Totally irrelvant TBer info share thread

Yesterday or something, I dusted off the old banjo and put new strings on it. Tried to play Foggy Mountain Breakdown and failed miserably. Who knew it was that hard? So I put the banjo on craigslist and it sold in less than two hours. Now I am banjoless. :)

I'm sorry to hear that.
(Unless you sold your banjo for enough to buy a cherry '73 4001. In that case Good Onya!)

Ouch. I've been there before and it's just the worst. Sorry to hear of your misfortunes Mr. Hondo4Life. :crying:

Oh, it's not that bad. It wasn't a very fancy banjo, nor is my electric bill past due. But, I did miss work today because of my back injury, so I figured I should still find a way to net a profit.

Speaking of banjos, I am completely and utterly flummoxed when I encounter an instrument whose strings don't go from low to high.

This was the biggest problem for me. In the end, that high G string always threw my ear off and caused me to stumble. I also simply cannot get used to using finger picks.
