They did! I think the reissues may even still be in production, it wasn't that long ago.
What is the name of it then I can't find it. I know they re-issued a EGV103 guitar, but I never saw a bass version other then the old ones let alone the SB-1C.

No, they didn't.
The reissued model was a different one, and longscale. Can't recall what it's called, but it may, as you say, well be in production still, albeit only available on the Japanese market now.Edit: This SB version looks more ilke the model that was reissued:

Yeah, I think you're right, I was remembering that model. Especially because the reissues of that one came in a few colors including banana yellow.

I can't remember the guy's name right now but he builds a lot of bizarre instruments and stage props. He built those clear acrylic cabs too. He has a website, maybe somebody else here has a link to it.
His name is Stig Pedersen, and he plays in the Danish band Link Removed. They've been around since '82.
