I would all kinds of buy a Traben 6er, btw.
Most models, are 34" on the four strings, 35" on the fivers, the Kore's are all 35" and I believe there is one or two other discontinued models that are 35" on the fours.
Having a 35" scale bass kind of makes me want to try out a short scale bass just to see what the difference is. What would be the most cost-effective option for that, I wonder. There are those Epiphone Hofner knockoffs... they any good?
Well after buying an Array Obsession 5 with the prompting of my wife (she actually picked it out) I decided that i wanted one in a 4 string version.....
just my luck it has last year and they are/were on backorder....looked everywhere even tried to buy a few from guys on here that had them.....namely Cardinal Fan as he is about 4 hours away from me.....
well many months later still no 4 string version in sight nobody has them in stock and nobody wants to sell....Cardinal fan hit me up (he has gone to the darkside and is currently playing a EBMM)......we make a deal and set a date......date comes he has to work, and i get called to work on an emergency......we try to re-schedule....no go......and then lo and behold my Local Mom and Pop gets one in in trade.....and she is now all mine $300.00 out the door with case and a new set of strings....

your forgiven....lol....i'm in the process of trying to acquire a Rick 4003 that turned up in a Pawn Shop here.....
That's a pretty good pawn shop. You would think that the Ric owner would have been smart to put the thing on Ebay and have rabid Ric-hopefuls tear each other apart for it.
apparently some kid inherited it from a realtive and traded it for powertools, a TV, and a computer....
They have it marked at $1,100.00 i put down a deposit and i have 90 days to get it out.....now the hard part is convincing the wife it's worth that when i already have 5 basses at home....i may end up having to sell off a few...lol
For what it is worth they also have a white 1984 Mockingbird they are asking $600.00 for as well and it is virtually untouched even still has the waranty card in the case
That would be very odd then, as mine is without a doubt 35", and to me knowledge all Tribal Suns are 35".
I just triple checked it, and mine is 34"
Maybe, now I wouldn't have expected so, but maybe, its because mine is fretless, makes no sense, but I can't think of anything else.
