Looks like they've EMGzored it. I wonder how it sounds like that...

HZ Soapbars.......

Crystal clear, no hum whatsoever, bright spank, growly lows, even, smooth, can fit in most places, nice for two handed tapping, runs from dark to bright, and if you want, its an easy mod to coil tap. I like them pickups a lot, wouldn't mind hearing clips, espcially with the low B.

I've had my eye on a couple of Trabens for some time, now. I tried a John Moyer signature a few days ago for the first time and was blown away. The Arrays are pretty nice, too, as are the Chaos Cores.

Look for me-I'll have one sometime soon. ;)

;)

Think you aiming for commision! lol

But yeah, check sig. And as Dark can vouch for, the flamed top is amazing on this one.

hahahahaha! Nothing of the sort, just giving a heads up to those most likley to be interested.

Remember, these do not pop up often, and Darkpluto's one has a particualary nice flame top, much nicer than mine, honestly.

Man, I haven't played a bolt-on neck bass in years... I don't think I could bring myself to do that. Maybe I have a weird bias or something; I just love neck-thru basses. The Tribal Sun bridge is pretty trippy, though.
Neck through are sweet, but I do like bolt on's as well.
And Traben bolts have full easy upper access.
SHHHHHH! How can I negotiate the price down if you guys are spreading the word?

Hahaha!:D

This is my Phoenix 5. it is about three years old, give or take.

that is a terrible picture...i have to take more and better pics of all of my children

I don't think I could ever forgive myself if I got a four string version of my bass. Every time I consider buying a four-string, I'm messing around with one and I'm looking for the low C or D and I toss it aside. Traben accomodates that low B so well.

How about a six-string Traben? The neck would be ginormous.
