I just don't see why Traben insists on those bridges with the large plate shaped like flames, or in this case, a sun burst. Not my cup of tea.

And you can't really swap bridges. You'd have bare screw holes all over the face of the bass.

Some people like the way it looks. And having played a few of them, there's a lot to be said for the way a huge bridge like that feels. Ibanez ATK basses do a similar thing without being quite as gaudy about it.

i had a traben neo for a week ( returned due to a dent caused by shipment) and i loved it. I'm getting another in about a week. i think traben has an awesome concept about it.

Anyway, its well known that I'm a fan of their "gaudiness."

By the way, for those that are intrested, that is a Limited Edtition, of the now discontinued model Tribal Sun.

traben makes really nice basses for a really nice price. my array obsession was only $420 and it's got stuff that you'd normally only find on $800-$1000 basses, not to mention it sounds amazing

I'm a recent convert myself.....my wife pointed one out to me at out Local Mom and Pop store recently and after playing it, I dumped one of my lower end E.S.P's and bought it...It is now my main player

35" scale, does both active and passive, the Rockfield 3 band electronics and pups are simply the cats meow...Royal Paulonia body laced with ebony, flame maple top, wenge fretboard, NT construction two Graphite re-inforced truss rods...

I can think of much worse ways to spend $550.00

the neck is fast and articulate, and outplays many basses i have tried that cost over twice as much....

my notes ring out much longer than my guitards...

my only complaint is it doesn't do oldschool tone very well but the modern tone absolutley buries anything else i have tried...

YMMV but I'm hooked
