Trace Elliot V-types

Now this may be a stupid question and if it is sorry ahead of time. I have been looking into these amps for a few months, holding off for an all tube version but those are pretty hard to find to say the least. In my search I have come across more than a few V-Type hybrid amps. So to my question, is a V-type hybrid going to sound similar to an all tube V-type? Am I being foolish for not jumping on the hybrids and holding out for an all tube? :help:

Thanks for the input ahead of time.

The all-tube Trace heads have their own vibe, and each different 'line' of tube Trace heads has it's own unique take on the Trace sound. But the 300/600H are really great in their own right, if you ask me.

In general, I think Trace Elliot's all-tube heads have nice, tight low end, so there's no huge difference, there, but the hybrids do sound a bit different. Different flavors of great, actually. :D

Tom.
