Transparent Fuzz

I am very impressed with the Smallsound/Bigsound Team Awesome FuzzMachine (with the Gate mod) I got recently- so far it does the best "clean with a hint of fuzz" tone I've gotten from a fuzz pedal, and it is super tweakable. I've never heard any fuzz that I would call "transparent", but if you dial in the clean volume on the fuzz to match your bypassed volume then add a touch of fuzz on top it sounds more like a transparent overdrive or distortion with alot of harmonic content.
