Traynor SB-15 vs. DB 200

In the market for an all around combo. I've tried the Traynor SB-15 and loved it. I have found someone selling a like new DB 200 for a bit less (about $150 less) than the SB-15. How does the DB compare to the SB? I am not concerned with weight or size, as I dont play out often.

I own the SB115 (and YB300, SB500H, and YBA-3, but I digress) ... the SB115 is my workhorse, even on larger stages. The sound guys love it too. It is a very bassy amp though. Playing a typical Fender P, I have too boost the hi-mid and treble to get the tone I want - sometimes to 3 o'clock depending on the stage and surroundings . It does what I need it to do, but the main reason I use it as often as I do is for the weight and ease of carrying. I have also owned a DB200 on two different occasions, and for pure tone, prefer it quite a bit over the SB115 (and I really like my SB115). The DB200 has a lot of punch and a fuller range - more top end on tap and tighter bottom end. Can't go too wrong with either but since weight is not much of a factor for you, I'd recommend the DB200 for you. Saving money is just a bonus.

Just to add ...the best 200W I ever owned was a Yorkville XM200. They pop up used all the time for about $250 Canadian. If you get a chance to check out one of those, I suggest that as well ... same Traynor quality / dependability ... just a different nameplate as they didn't use the Traynor name on bass gear for a few years for whatever reason. If I wasn't such a wimp and weight wasn't such an issue for me, I'd still own the one I had.

Edit: I owned the 1X15 version of the XM200. It was also available as a 2X10. Even the 1X15 was very punchy with a lot of presence. Modern sounding. The SB115 is warmer, earthier.
