Traynor YC-610 Sealed Cabinet - Replacement Speakers Needed

I was thinking Eminence Alpha 10A's, yet want to ensure they'll be fine for the sealed cabinet. Any thoughts on if I'm going down the right road?
Alpha 10s have good specs for sealed cabs; aside from impedance they're similar to the SVT driver.
called Avatar Speakers. You can get all 6 drivers shipped for around 200 bucks or less if I remember correctly. They are the celestions Peavey uses for the Trace Elliot cabs.
Those are the Celestion TF1020, which don't have good specs for sealed, and such a short xmax and high Fs that they really shouldn't be used for bass at all.

I'm fairly certain there's no recones available for the Marslands used in those.

You're assumption is incorrect, kits are available. Both Edword and I have reconed the Marsland speakers in our Traynor YC810 cabinets.

FWIW, I've always found that Marslands in the YC610 and YC810 always worked well for bass. That's not to say that a newer designed higher powered speaker won't work well also in a YC610.

Fair enough. The Mother Ship in Pickering always told us that so I accepted it to be true.
