I've been playing into a BOSS BR600 recording studio and have taken a shine to one of the effects on there. It's named 'St WACK' (on the off chance one of you might be familiar with the unit?).
The effect is geared towards guitar more so than bass, accentuates harmonics really clearly, sounds very driven but still quite crisp. The sustain lasts seemingly forever.
Has anyone got any ideas what the effect might be based on (famous pedals/amps etc...).
I know it's a long shot, but I thought I'd throw it out there?
I'll see if I can record an example and stick it up here for reference. My goal is to figure out how to replicate the sound live.
