i cant believe you guys think my rig is nonsense! there has to be space for art in this world. ppl pay to see this junk it better be the coolest thing theyv seen...ever

Doesn't matter what we think. I admire your dedication to the visual impact/entertainment aspect, this is important.
I say just get something 'normal' that works and surround it with a bunch of junk, working or not.

there is some of the orig 69-77 stuff i want to incorporate, but this has to be the biggest boom ever from my maple ric; splintering in my hands and the strings feel like theyre exploding off the guitar! i want it to swell up then slightly delayed kaboom. whats the best power to by for that?

already gave you the secret formula, my friend: Marshall stack above 200 Hz, Crown bipolar amps for sub-200Hz. Use old JBL 4520s loaded with 2226s, a biamp active xover, Alembic F2B for the Crowns, done.

Probably nuclear. But that breaks all kinds of international law...

No, we just think it's a bit....overkill, and the FOH and stage monitor guy will probably take you out & shoot you in the parking lot.

Seen I think should take a back seat to heard.

For that type of "kaboom", you need an Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator

so out of the amps i mentioned, "peavey" is the ultimate rig? i just dont believe that. skynard isnt known for their bass sound anyway. Rock band like, Disciple, U2, Coldplay, Radiohead

I guess you've never heard of Billy Gould.

I like U2, Coldplay, and Radiohead, but put all three of their tones together and they have nothing near the raw aggression of Billy's rock tone.

I play a "maple Ric"

And have no idea what you are talking about. Put some M-80 fireworks in your amp, and mic it with a delay pedal in line?

(Btw -mine sounds pretty bad-arse with a Mesa Bass 400. Tool's Undertow tone all day.)
