Looking around my favorite bass guitars, I hit this page and I just went "banana"....

Well that is certainly flamey. Always some interesting stuff coming out of Japan. ESP Japan also has some radical looking products. Many yens I am sure.

Not a fan of the spalted look, or the neck joint, or the fact that battery changes reqire a screwdriver. Other than that, gorgeous!

I'd like to see more of the 5-string bass body with 6-strings for under $1000.
