Tuning Machines for new Warmoth neck

Hipshot. Great product, best service. If you're looking to save a few bucks, buy the lic'd Hipshot imports...still impressive!

Is Hipshot a brand or a style? From what I've been able to tell, a few different companies make "hipshot-type" machines. If this is the case, which brand might you recommend?

What bore did you get with the neck?
The tuner holes are sized for 11/16" (17.5mm). From what I understand, this is supposed to be the standard gauge for modern Fender basses.

That IS standard. In that case you have many options, just remember it has to fit a standard 11/16" bore, or come with the appropriate conversion bushing.

There are many good tuning machines out there, in different gear ratios, and different weights. Hipshots are a good make, as well as Gotohs, Grovers, and Schallers. Take a look at the offerings of each, and figure out what aesthetic suits your bass best. The best part is, your neck doesn't have screw-holes in it, so you can choose which ever machines you like, assuming they fit the bore.

I looked into it quite a bit, and I decided that I want to purchase the Schaller bass keys, possibly with either the pearl satin or ruthenium finish. But, I can't seem to figure out where to purchase them... Any advice on where I might be able to purchase them?
