Oh wow! Nice score then.
My new start up has been invited to something similar. We are in negotiations but I don't think we can get near that much per man. We are all local though, so we may do it anyway just to get our name out there a little bit.

I got lucky. This band is well established in the state. I only wish I would get called a bit more. These folks are great.

Got a last-minute call to fill in for a local folk band I started working with last year. Second show I've played with, and man, was it fun. Last night, we played a show for two fans of the band who were celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary together. Exciting!

Absolutely fabulous! I like a good "last minute call" to play with friends at a nice, casual backyard party. I would have been a much better guest and NOT turned down the beer. . I'm glad you had a great time. Thanks for sharing.

No. We were hired for $150 a piece for 3 hours of our time. Half of the band lives two hours out of town, so beer and barbecue pay isn't a thing with them.

Actual pay for a band in addition to food and beverage. Wonders will never cease!
