Two cabs to a Mesa Red Faced walkabout

I've been out of the bass world for awhile and am going through and selling stuff.

I have a buyer for my 20+ year old red faced Mesa Boogie walkabout, and two bag end 15" cabinets ( S15-n and S15-D) and want to test it out before it goes out the door since I havent used it for ages.

Do I want to connect those cabinets in series ( amp out-cab1, than cab1 to cab2 ) or parallel ( each output jack from the amp to each cab ).

Unless somebody rewired your Bag End cabinets, the speakers will probably be in parallel whichever way you connect them.

Yeah, that's a great rig... one thing they need to be aware of though- the M-pulse WalkAbout doesn't like a load of <4 ohms. Make sure how you load that thing, because the parts to repair them are getting hard to come by.

Great rig. If both cabs are 8 ohms you shouldn’t have any problem. Like previously said though, either way you wire those cabs they are going to be 4 ohms together. Online years ago I read about how daisy chaining cabs was putting them in series but that’s not true most the time.
