I knew this would make it to this forum.

Glenn Beck has suggested that all music venues from now on supply Ms. Crow with a neat stack of five TP squares per engagement. :D Boy, would she holler about that.

Actually, if you use your fingers to clean up, then use the square of TP to wipe off your fingers, you might get away with it.

ETA: of course, after saying this, she probably jumped onto her several-bus convoy and proceded to drive cross country to the next gig... unless she was taking private jet.

You've got to love this. Now Sheryl Crow is proposing that "one square of toilet paper is enough", And maybe "two or three squires" for those "pesky situations". Just what we need anorexic celebrities setting public crapping policies!:D

Just :rollno: . She wants that to be a law. How is she going to enforce it? Have police officers in public restrooms watch people take dumps? This is why celebrities should not be involved in politics. What an idiot.

Having seen an interview with her recently, I'm not surprised at all by her saying some nonsense like this. She seemed slightly out of touch.

Perhaps she could recommend that we start using both sides of our square. (too obscure?)

What happens with Number 3 of the Poopie List?

The kind where you wipe your butt 50 times and it still feels unwiped, so you have to put some toilet paper between your butt and underwear so you won't ruin them with a stain.

Are you just going to hope that it's clean?

I don't think she actually wants this to be the law. Here is the full quote from her website. Its pretty daft, but I am still not 100% she is serious with this or writing this tounge in cheek. I tend towards believing she is serious, but it does feel a little bit tounge in cheek to me - especially the part about her brother:

I have spent the better part of this tour trying to come up with easy ways for us all to become a part of the solution to global warming. Although my ideas are in the earliest stages of development, they are, in my mind, worth investigating. One of my favorites is in the area of conserving trees which we heavily rely on for oxygen. I propose a limitation be put on how many sqares of toilet paper can be used in any one sitting. Now, I don't want to rob any law-abiding American of his or her God-given rights, but I think we are an industrious enough people that we can make it work with only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where 2 to 3 could be required. When presenting this idea to my younger brother, who's judgement I trust implicitly, he proposed taking it one step further. I believe his quote was, "how bout just washing the one square out."
