Although his on stage antics make me cringe

Really? That's one of the things that I find very endearing about him. He can clown around, all over the stage, but still play with tons of finesse.

Absolute monster player and super nice guy. I met him after a show and the guy couldn't have been nicer. Plus he was really funny. I was totally blown away.

Never got into the band, never heard him do anything really that out of the ordinary. And that is one hell of a Washburn Taurus series

His tasteful note selection is what makes him a great player. That is out of the ordinary for rock music these days.

He actually co-built the first bass with Dave Parr (Movies Video). Then got sponsered by Fender, and had the Fender Custom shop make a version of his design. This is what he told me when I met him backstage. At one time, there was going to be a signature model.

I'm a huge AAF fan. Tye did leave the band for a while to go to school, he recorded the bass parts for their last album before taking off. He has since rejoined the band, and I can't wait for a new album.

He has been a big influence on my playing style.

I don't care what kind of sucess the band had or not, a shame their "big hit" had to be the MJ cover, and not something of their own. I personally love their albums and his playing. \m/

I liked their "movies" song... their MJ cover came out after that... was a pretty good cover IMHO... I'm a die hard metal head but damn if their **** wasn't catchy and fun... their originals i mean

but yeah, a buss accident on tour slowed their roll to a dead halt...too bad...
