I played 2 of the more base model 5ers. For the money, they were damn nice players. Fit, finish and overall quality is impressive as well. I just wish they would come out with a few other body shapes.

The US Masters bass I played was a great instrument with excellent fit and finish. I know of no other USA based manufacturer who makes basses in the USA of equal quality for less money.

I agree. At least extend that short arm out a bit. But I dig 'em. Probably have one someday!

I had a 4 string passive that had their pickups and tone circuit and it was a pretty groovy bass. Very lightweight and playable. The tones that came from the bass were really nice, not very aggressive - more "old school" sounding.

I was not thrilled with the body style as much as the sound and ultimately it went away but they are nice basses and very affordable.
