This is not Peavey related but SUPER cool.
So, I live in Petaluma which is in Sonoma County, California. Mesa Boogie, KALA Brand Music Ukes is across the freeway, Alembic up the freeway 15 minutes, EMG in Santa Rosa, Modulus / VOX in Novato, etc..
So, I was just outside sanding my Millennium body and a guy and his wife walk by and ask what I'm doing. I tell him I am sanding a bass body and he sees it and says oh it has a jazz pickup in the neck position. He asked where I got it and I told him Amber from Brown Eyed Girl on Reverb / Ebay. I said, "Well you obviously know what you're talking about, do you play ?"
He says, "My name is Rob. This is my wife Karen. We live right around the corner. EMG is my company. Want to come take a tour ?"
Ummmmmm... YES !!!!!!

Ask him if I can tag along also! Haha, I live too far away. This is not Peavey related but SUPER cool.

The burst body just sold so I guess it’s now a moot point. I’ll probably regret it!
Interesting. It might be worth contacting this seller, because if for some reason it is still available in late Dec, I have family coming from the Chicago area to visit us in coastal DE the day after Christmas and they are staying overnight in Somerset, PA on the drive. Seems like a nice bass and fair price.Peavey Foundation USA made No affiliation

Are the Mahogany bodies noticeably different with the tone on these? And typically are they heavier or lighter than the standard ones?Peavey Foundation USA made No affiliation

I used to get deals on Sonor drum stuff listed as Sonar....and Paiste listed as Paste. So yeah, autocorrect sucks. In the older days of Ebay one could get SMOKIN' deals on gear that people got from inheritance, sales, etc that had the name spelled incorrectly, but now Ebay has auto correct, from what I've seen because I tried to trick the system to see if I could post a mispelled ad like Peavy in particular. My buddy got a super rare Fender Strat for $400 about 15 years ago.
Ha! Same here. Sonor and Paiste were my biggest searches 13-20 years ago as they were my favorite things to get on the used market.I used to get deals on Sonor drum stuff listed as Sonar....and Paiste listed as Paste. So yeah, autocorrect sucks.
It shows "song removed"
