Just remove them altogether and stick your bridge of choice in their place.

Pickups have blades inside so you don't need to worry about magnetic fields.

Might end up losing the thru body stringing but big deal , all that brings to the table is the need for longer strings :roflmao:

Don't take losing the string thru body as a given , the bridge on my Grind is a Sung Il BB-01 and I'm still going thru body.

They do sound similar to each other since they share the same electronics. The Cirrus has a more slender neck and I appreciate the tilted headstock that does not require a string tree. The tone of the Cirrus is more complex and that is quite noticeable in the Walnut body/neck Cirrus that have Bubinga or Wenge tops. The B string has a little more clarity up the neck as compared to the GV.

All that said, my GV is certainly a keeper. It plays and sounds fantastic and is a very attractive bass. I am quite honored to have and play a Cirrus Wenge top 6, fretted and fretless Cirrus Bubinga top 5's, a GV and a Millennium Plus 5.

I've been reducing my bass collection and have got it down to where all I have left are ones I want to keep. The only one that gets no play time is my Forum P/J but that is an absolute killer bass and the very best sounding P/J bass I have ever played. GC has one that looks nice except it looks like the fingerboard may have some wear from long fingernails. That is just cosmetic and it certainly is a bargain at $299.

Crazy that that Forum PJ is STILL there. If I weren't in a purging and thinning the herd mode I'd had bought that bass by now.
