Not only did it help, but it let me avoid the tilt function altogether. Not that the tilt doesn't work properly if done right, but it's just a pain to GET right. That, and the stock aluminum ABM bridge seems flimsy. I prefer heavier brass or steel bridges to not only lessen neck dive, but also for better punch and sustain, at least here. Yes, the change from the stock bridge to a brass Hipshot is noticeable on the GV. I also did it on my first one, back in the '00s, and I was impressed with the sustain, volume, and clarity improvement. Granted, it wasn't anything crazy, but certainly better.
