I know I am preaching to the choir but one of you should snag that GV.

I am blessed to have 3 Cirrus, a Millennium Plus 5, a GV, a Foundation 5 and a Forum P/J. Each of them is excellent.

The photos of the GV show normal low action. Just like mine....same color and mine is a killer bass. This is MIM Fender P bass money and includes a nice hard case.

The action on mine is very low. About what we have come to expect on a Cirrus.

I would be more into the GV for sale if it weren't sunburst. Had it been that green or black sparkle... well!

Most of them have metalflake finishes which I don't care for. I bought mine because of the sunburst finish. LOL

It is nice to have choices to go with our preferences, isn't it?

Like AudioTaper said, it is actually the Cirrus preamp (they only manufactured one board and shared it).

On my bolt on I only had some spare parts around. The Milli pre died on it, so I used a Gbass board I bought from Amber, that were mis-labeled as Cirrus pre's, and I added a blend pot from a broken Cirrus board and it worked. That's what I have in the bolt on now.

They were not mislabeled. There is only one board, and is labeled "Cirrus". Quite likely the version from 1996.

I guess it's semantics. Mine was made for a Gbass, hence it had no blend pot and those are nearly impossible to find, unless you have old parts to steal from. That's what I meant.

Those photos are from a TB'er. I forgot who, but they look AMAZING !!!!! The one on the left sold years ago, IIRC for under a grand.

My G Bass is done! I got it back and had to leave for a polka party before I had time to take a pic. I could have taken a pic with the 3 minutes that I did have, but I used that time to plug it in and play. It sounds and plays great. Pics coming when I get home. Oh, and the polka band is pretty darn good. The accordionist amplified with a Peavey.

The powered mixer for the PA is all Peavey.

Anyone else use Peavey PA stuff? I used to have an XR600F and a pair of SP5G's. I barely used it and sold it to my buddy's church for cheap. I'm surprised I was able to cross the threshold when I delivered it. Ha!
