Haha I love that you kept the metaphor accurate !Yeah, as much as I would like to resuscitate it and murder my RicRiot, I’m gonna grab the back seat on this ride.

I can say that a US Peavey guy grabbed the bass. And it sold! Not a surprise, I was going to make an offer for the hardware and pups, but what I really need is a neck...!
That's nice! Can't tell from the pics, but I'd wager that it's the cool pearl white offered with the Customs. When I got my loaded white '87 Foundation body off of ebay, I was pleasantly surprised to discover it was pearl white. It's subtle, but much nicer looking than regular ol' gloss white.Another white custom

Rockauto for the win. I may have several fridge magnets from them

For Sale/Trade - Peavey Loaded Foundation Body, Patriot NeckHey there all....I asked a similar question in a thread called "tell me about Super Ferrite pickups...need info..." and they sent me to this thread (thanks to some of the folks on this thread that I recognize that helped me out there, especially @bigtone23). So here goes:
I've had a mahogany bodied '85 Foundation with two Super Ferrites in it for a while now and it sounds amazing...it does the Geddy Lee thing better than my old MIJ Geddy Jazz did imo.
I have a Peavey Fury body from '93 that is beat to crap that I wanted to do the Dave Meros 4 pickup thing in it (two jazzish pickups in the Ric positions and two in the 70s Jazz positions). I've found that trying to find 3 more Super Ferrites (I have one from a Patriot I'm modding) when there is so much hype is a pain in the keester (though I am on the hunt and still will be regardless). Plus, if possible, I'd like to get pickups in an easier routable shape...preferably a jazz shape or a more common soapbar shape like EMG35 or Bart. So my question is, do any of these pickup types (or ones I haven't listed) sound anywhere close to Foundation-style single coil Super Ferrites? (I am open to any/all suggestions and comments on the following pickups tones being anything/nothing like SFs):
Thanks for bearing with the long post and for any insight you might be able to provide!

Yeah, nice. It's the same color as my RJIV, gunmetal gray. It just looks so classy, to ME. I know some people hate it.
