Hey BXP owners: I have a 2004-ish Grind with the Hipshot-like single-string bridges. But the saddle seems only held in place by friction. If the strings are off, the saddles fall out. Bestbassgear.com sells both Hipshots and a generic no-name single-string bridge. I believe the Hipshots have an extra screw to secure the saddle in place. My question is: are Hipshots drop-in replacements for the single-string bridges on Peavey BXP basses?
