So in my quest to acquire every finish ever done on the TL6 JediBass hooked me up with an eerie dess model. Thanks dude btw. Anyone know or seen any other colors that weren't custom? I thought I had them all until I saw this one. Now it's time to move to getting all the TL5's! Crap cell phone pics for now, pro pics and family shots to come.

Man, that thing is gorgeous!

Has anyone seen a white TL-5/6? I don't remember seeing one.

Great pics bro! It was great dealing with you!

Speaking of oddball finishes, evidently in the early 90's a lot of makers were offering some unique finishes. Various swirls, granite-look, irridescent, etc.

Here's a Peavey Fury (circa 89-90) in an oddball metallic green "dabbed" paint job. Haven't seen another like it, but have read web-blurbs about some Peavey guitars with this finish.

FWIW, I'm certain this was the original finish, the bass was near mint when I got it, and when I took it apart I found no evidence of a refin. Anyway, check it out...

You're Fury is the Shiznit!

I'd love to find any Fury with the ole' bowling ball finish.

Hey!

I picked up this Peavey Unity Series this weekend at a flea market for $65. Yesterday I took off all the stickers and cleaned off the residue. It has a beautiful finish. The neck plays great and I like the neck-through construction. I played it at church this morning and it sounded really nice. I have looked through Peavey clubs for a while and I am happy to finally have one.

Sorry about the pictures being landscape. They are portrait on my desktop.

This Unity has Dimarzio pickups in it. Does anyone know if they originally came with them?
