Still super ferrites you'll be glad to know. It's just a change of shells . When both volumes are equal the pickups act like humbuckers. If you think they're out of phase check the wiring.
And in checking the wiring, if they LOOK like they’re wired correctly, one is backwards. True story.
This is the most important point. Every Super Ferrite I have had has a bare wire ground, a red wire and a black wire. Treat the red as hot for one pickup, black as hot for the other.
That looks exactly like the one I saw on the Guitar Center used site. If so its a steal at the price they were asking! Congrats.
A few days ago they had a Foundation 2000 5 string in the gold finish for $199 (!) I called the store to buy it and had just been sold.

Are any members looking for a closet queen GV (Sunburst)?
I've never gigged it or practiced with it (i gig an upright and 7 - never practice)... Sat in the case.
Why sell? Going through my gear and removing the stuff that will never end up ay the church... GV, composite acoustics, quantum 6, grand piano, etc are all moving.
I just quick sold the other GV (i had 2) for $800 locally.

Getting used tp my TL-Six, starting to like it more. What a fun bass to play.

Since MNAirhead went there, I also have two GK Neo cabs. I have the 210's and I LOVE them. I also have the SWR Golight 210's. I am a fan of 210's. BUT, I used to own GK NEO 212's and they were all I needed. Even for an outdoor gig !! It put out the punch of 210's and the volume of 410's at half the weight. Perfect, really.

I do wonder if a bigger enclosure would throw more heft, but so far it seems very adequate for my gig life.
I just cut to the chase and have an ACME Low B-2 Series II cabinet and Hartke LH1000 Amp. Will handle anything and it's quite portable.
Cutting to the chase is my very point with the MB212- good sound, enough presence, an able combo as a simple solution.
I only think about playing now, which is no thought at all. More fun! Now!!
