Break a leg!
I've been gigging for a while. We went through a dry spell in April and May. But, then the premium locations started contacting us. These were places we had not been able to get our "foot in the door" before Covid. Anyways, we had 3 shows in June and have had 1 to 3 per month since, which is all we shoot for due to family stuff and vacations, etc. So, now that we've been seen and heard at the nicer venues, we have a regular flow of messages asking us back. It took us a couple years of trying very hard to get the reputation and recognition we deserved. We're blessed to be turning down more shows than we accept, and very blessed to have stayed healthy! I'm in the medical field and can assure you that the virus is no joke! Every gig is a risk. But, for now... it seems to have helped my band.
