Yep. I have one. Bought it about a year ago to have an inexpensive 5 string for some shows. I liked it so much a couple months later I bought my US Millennium, a G Bass and A GV.

I'm speaking of the active one with the preamp, not the passive one with two Jazz pickups. Just to make sure we're apples and apples .

Hey thanks, I just deleted the post because found a thread about em. Didnt ask seller, it's three knobs two jazz p/up's probably passive.

Yes, 3 knobs is passive. I have a much older active Millennium 5 BXP from about 2006. An OK bass, actually quite well made, but not sure how much of that applies to one built 12 years later. Electronics are definitely meh but sounds like not applicable to you, other than needing to replace the pots.

The most notable thing about the one I have is the very narrow 16 mm string spacing. Never quite got used to that. Double check that if it matters to you.

Had a heap of things like that happen during the 70's and 80's here in Adelaide too..lots of drunks trying to destroy gear and electrocute the band caused by tiny stages where there was no choice but to stand on the floor..the stories all we guys can tell. On the other side of the coin I was playing on a higher stage late 70's and the heel on my platform shoes snapped clean off and I shot straight off the side of the stage clamping my 4003 Ric bass to my chest and took the brunt of the fall flat on my back..Its amazing how preservation comes into play in a split second..all I could think of was...protect the Ric..lol luckily in those days I was only late 20's and I bounced..was sore for a few days but I would surely hurt myself badly if I fell like that these days with old late 60's bones loll..thanks for the story..I enjoyed your telling of it TinIndian.

The things that you see and things that happen at gigs.I just don't think I get shocked anymore.

Some wow, did you see that moments (probably not appropriate here) or things that make you laugh, guy passing out on his feet and face planting at a St Patty's gig. Some serous and scary, bar fight breaking out at the end of the night, I'm 5 feet away heading in to help break it up and the guy pulls a gun and promptly shots a hole in the roof. And some that are just ***, two women fighting over some guy - full on cat fight. Turns out they are MOTHER and DAUGHTER!

You just never know!

Loll..the sights ya see when ya havent got a gun...but some-else does.
I was impressing a couple of good looking gals packing my gear away one night and all the cables had got tangled up around the Peavey amp and my Dyna Bass was on its stand amongst the mess and as I bent over to pick up the cables my beautiful sweat-soaked velvet flares (pants) split right up the ol backside and I presented the gals with my Aussie flag boxer shorts underneath..never got to take either of them home as I ended up the butt of their jokes..literally.

My extreme PLEASURE !!!! I've been a fan since I saw him in a small club in San Rafael in 1989. He had Chad Wackerman on drums and Jimmy Johnson on bass. Neil Schon, Jeff Watson were there with their jaws on the floor.

Pity all we guys are so so far away...a great get-together Covid BBQ knocking elbows and sharing a bevvy (having a beer or 2) and a couple of mystery bags on bread (BBQ sausages) with dead 'orse (tomato sauce or ketchup) would be a wonderful idea.
