Yes that red one is pretty.....but yours is another level!!!There is a very pretty Foundation with case on GC for $299. If I didn't already have one I'd buy it. Here is mine that I got from 58kites:

My favorites:
Generation 1 (Slant Super Ferrite) Fury
Generation 2 (Split P) Fury
Patriot
Somehow, you've gotten MNAirhead and 58kites confused. These are great basses, I guess you should part with your Pink Foundy then...?![]()
Sold my beautiful blue Foundation to Chuck M.
I like single pickup basses best
You might say I'm a fan.
There's 51 of my Peavey basses in this photo, couldn't fit the rest in the room.

When you say Most/Least desired . Is that personally or for somebody planning a collection ?

Indeed! That blue Foundation has THUNDAR written all over it...That was great luck for me. The Foundation is a fantastic bass..........even though I rarely play a 4 string. The blue beauty is set up perfectly (my opinion, of course) and sounds lovely. The red one on GC shares the same rounded body shape but lacks the matching headstock. It is still a lovely bass assuming the neck is good.
I keep trying to reduce my Peavey collection but it is difficult to make yourself sell great basses, isn't it?
72 basses up to the 3rd floor. Gig bags are great, took 6 basses at a timeYou mean somebody had to MOVE all that? I hope each has its own case or bag.
HAHA, no you don't have a problem, either ..."kodiakblair," "You might say I'm a fan.

Wow, I thought I had a lot of instruments; thank you for making me feel better. I have about 20 basses, but only two Peavey's. Additionally, I have about 50 guitars, of which 5 or 6 are Peavey's, and maybe 8 or 9 mandolins. But you definitely have me outnumbered. My main problem is that I am running out of storage room; maybe it's time to add a new wing. I check my local pawn shops often, but they almost never have Peavey basses or guitars on hand, so I guess the word is out that they are quality items. My Peavey basses are a T-40 (which is a tonemonster, but definitely heavy) and a MIK Milestone IV. I will always continue to look for used Peavey's and somehow justify a purchase if I find one.
As for perspective, personal or for a collection; I am more interested in the personal. I am a collector, but I only buy what I like and what feels and sounds good when playing it. As such, my collection is quite varied, but I am always on the lookout for that next "must have" unit.
Thump on,

That is the 94 Forum Plus with Wilde P46/J45L pickups. Stumbled across that one looking for a Foundation S. It was pretty haggard, way cheaper than a Foundy S and METALLIC GREEN! Gave it a shot and no regrets. It's a really nice bass. Much nicer than the 93 Foundation I used to have. By feel and such, that Forum Plus fits right in with the Foundation and Patriot.Nice! Whats the green bass up on the right?

The old 12lb Peavey case ? Those things I loathe with a passion![]()
funny--- yea... my anvil case weighs 50#It could be worse. The most recent Gretsch 6070 I got came with a custom made hardshell case. It took both me and the UPS guy to get it out to my station wagon. Getting it out of the car and into the house nearly killed me.
