That's actually very heavy for a neo 410. For example, the ceramic Bergantino HS410 is only about 15 pounds more, and the new AE410 is right at 60 pounds, with a 16" depth (wonderful). The classic Epifani410UL is at 57 pounds, although it is full size (18" depth). There are quite a few neo 410's that are in the 55-60 pound range that are also awesome. Make sure you do your homework before you take the plunge... lot's of great stuff out there.
please keep in mind we're not trying to build the lightest, we're trying to build to what our ears, sounds the best.
... some just also achieve a great weight spec also. I have a pretty strict 60 pound limit on any single piece of gear (any heavier than that feels 'heavy' to me when trying to lift the cab on a tall stage or up stairs by myself), but I look forward to trying one of these out sometime.
