Hey folks...is anyone else using Ulyate Pickups? I have a P / MM set in my p-bass and they are amazing! I also tried a Colibri bass this past weekend which had an Ulyate Single Coil Jazz set.

Does anyone else have experience with Howard's pickups? If so, share your thoughts!!

I have a set in my 78 jazz bass that sound amazing, some in my franken-p-bass, and I'm about to put some in my lakland JO 55-60. Love them.

I have a set of Ulyate single coils in a Fender Jazz 5 parts bass, and I couldn't be more pleased. As another poster put it, they are - perfect, wonderful & amazing!

I've been through almost every big name aftermarket & boutique pickup manufacturer, but I think I've found my sound with the Ulyate pickups!

Howard accommodated my request for some very hot pickups (Bridge = 10.15K, Neck = 10.08K) and they are simply amazing! They are not over-extended or over-reaching like some pickups I've tried. They are just very harmonically rich and very musical sounding. They can really growl when you dig in too - super responsive to your playing.

Some of the finest jazz bass pickups I've ever heard. Howard's truly gifted and his pickups will be my go-to starting place for many moons.

Thinking of replacing a set of Delano P/J with Ulyate Tic Tac pickups. I'm looking for something a little hotter and more aggressive with solid lows and good mid presence (not nasal). Any one have these and could offer their thoughts?

I have a set of these headed to Chris Benavente to go in my new custom,.....very anxious to hear the result,....I originally was going to go with Howards dual coil,..figured I'd give these a shot first though,....if I'm not happy with them, the dual coils have the same footprint so I'll just swap them out.
