I am guessing its been said in this thread but noel redding was really a great bass player. I am 20 and play with a bunch of younger guys that are into blink 182 pop style bands, heck my P bass did not even have a tone knob because i saw them as "useless" i found some old hendrix Cd's at a pawn shop and Noel's playing has really changed my look on the bass, i played for 8 hours straight today just working on hendrix tunes, using my P bass that now has a tone knob and really getting into a groove.

I'll have to go with Mudfuzz on Kurt Danielson. No one even notices that guy. TAD was a great band. But Mr. Danielson is great when it comes to bass. Amazing bass tones.
