Im missing a lot of bass players, but the ones i post are the obvious for me. i think bplayers as billy sheehan, juan alderete, tony levin, geddy lee, John Myung and so on, are good where they are (rating talking )

I'll list an underrated band all together... I always enjoy listening to Jason Black's basslines from Hot Water Music. Nothing overly special but does a great job of cutting the groove through the scratchy guitars and dual barritone/bassy vocals.
