underated overrated bassists

Lol just cuz he plays his open E string doesn't mean he is in the key of E that's like saying if I play and only play an open E I'm playing in E harmonic m,#5,b11...it doesn't make sence, Steve Harris is a good bass player and does his job in his specific niche, he is a time keeper and punches his way through to the front of the mix, with the stuff the guitars are playing over the drums and vocals, you need a bassist who is part metronom or else everyone will be everywhere...its funny but I'm not even a maiden fan lol id rather do more with bass playing but sometimes a bassist who makes simple groove that holds the group together and doesn't do much flashy is the one that gets hired.

ehm?!
are you HIGH?
BRAKE DOWN THE NOTES AND YOU LL SEE E MINOR SCALE
nothing to do with "e" string,mate-if you play riff containing-e,f#,g,a,b,c.....what's that? of w8 it's E ****ING MINOR
and it's in like most of their songs
man i spent my youth playing "rhyme of the ancient mariner"(favourite one-mostly 'cause it lasts 15 min. so it's a good exercise),among others, i know what i'm talking about.
in fact,I'm willing to bet my arm that more than 75% of their songs are in E minor
