Basic theoretical rhetoric which would imply 90% of rigs being used world wide would have destroyed speakers.

It takes much more than having a lower powered amp than the cabs are rated at to get square waves to come out and destroy speakers. You get quite a bit of warning before that could happen.
I don't think the pf cabs would be what you are after. Sink the bigger money into the better cab, skimp on a bu-clona 3pro, and be closer to where you want to be.You sir, you conviced me. I'm going the bugera or pf 800 way. No gamble.

I don't think a 60s style flip top sealed cab is going to be the best option for the hard rock you want to do.
You will really like the eden. The longer you wait the better chance it will go bye bye.
The reviews of the non tube veyron on TB are quite good. Some who thought they would prefer the real tubes version actually got on better with the mosfets. Directly ripping off the design motifs of the streamliner I find unconscionable myself.

I was running 220w into a 700w 410 for decades. Speakers are still fine.
Now running 700w clean into a 200w cabinet for extended periods of time COULD melt the voice coil, that is if it didn't already destroy the spider or edge surround or cone itself. This is a tough topic to discuss. Mileage varies, not all cabinets are created equal.
Before speakers blow, speakers fart. And who likes to hear farts all night?

That Eden is well over $1000 new. It is heavy, but it is the shiznit, really. One of the best cabs out there. Only thing that sucks is lifting it. It includes casters tho, so it is just the lifting in and out of vehicles, up stairs, over curbs, and on stage, all other times you just wheel er around.
For a little over €500 you would have a decent rig and a cabinet to be proud of.

But for €300 you are not going to find 2 that will come close to that eden. "Vertical stack" preference guys aside.
At this point I feel you will not get the eden because it will likely get snatched up before you decide, or it has some issues. PM me a link to it, I promise not to spill the beans.

Expensive cabs that are still in production are like cars, as soon as you drive off the lot they go down in value. And it is a buyers market. People have to take a hit if they want to move something without getting lucky waiting for a "sucker" to pull the trigger without doing his price research. Here.Craigslist has overpriced stuff that sits and sits and sits. Like almost as much as new. And the low price stuff is gone before you can even reply to it
Of course it turns out I look at the eden, listing and right away the cones look darker and his watt spec is 200w lower than eden spec. So likely this super steal on the cab is just a decent fair price for one with run of the mill eminence replacement. All that hype and it is likely just an eden box with aftermarket drivers...

My new suggestion after looking at thomann for romania, the rumble 500 combo at €615, not much worse than our $599 price.

Ashdown abm series is a great sounding pre with tons of power from the 500 on up but it is not your description of the tone youre looking for. The classic ampeg sound is not that either but being behemoth that they are theyve made so many amps over the years to nail down every corner of the market there are growly and bright sounding ampegs. What i think of for the tone you describe is GK, eden, and peavey. Gk especially The tone hammer/rumble/mesa suggestions seem misplaced for your stated tonal goals. No 800rbs floating around deutschland/romania used for good prices? Those things are indestructable with a killer scooped tone if thats your thing. And gk has been making them for yeeeeeaaaaaarrrrrrsssssssss

Yeah thats the amp but i agree thats too spendy. They are solid as &$(/!! And not as bulky as they may seem. Not featherweights but around 25 lbs a pretty easy transport. I thought cuz there are so many made it might be a deal even in central europe. Maybe maybe not just a thought. The most important thing the 800rb does the tone you describe in spades. Check other gk rb series stuff. And dont overlook peavey. Some of their heads cop a great gk growl. Thinking firebass, nitrobass, deltabass especially but plenty of others.
