Since the last posting in this thread was June 2010, I'm not sure if anyone's still handing out membership ids. (Edit: I just read the thread history. Numbers are self-assigned, so I'll take #5). In any case, I have a submission for the unknown bass club.
I've owned my No-Name Fretless P-Bass for at least 15 years. I only recently received it again, as I had it sent to me from my parents' place.
It is no name because at the time of my purchase, the seller told me it used to be a fretted Fender (or maybe Squier) but he replaced the neck with an aftermarket fretless. I was too naive to doubt at the time and there don't seem to be any Fender indicators of any type on the bass. That's fine; it was only $150 at the time. Not the best, but it was my first fretless and I was glad to own and learn on it.
