jokerjkny said:wow, LOTS of great suggestions here. learning tons.
myself, living around NYC, you do nothing but walk, so that's helped a ton.
but, changing my diet did AMAZING things for my body. eating much smaller frequent meals, and avoiding fast food / most processed foods in the super market helped my body from storing all those preserved ingredients that do nothing more than sit inside of me!
and, when i started cooking for myself, i knew what went in and what didnt, which for some odd reason made everything taste better! my minestrone rocks anything that comes in a can.
but more than slimming down, i found myself more refreshed after sleeping, i wasnt as tired during the day, and most of all, it was sooooooo freakin' easy. seriously, didnt do much exercise save for walking lots, and yet, the weight melted away.
its been about 2 months, and since then i've lost about 20 lbs. i still eat what i want, barring fastfood.
course, if i do want a hamburger i cook/grill it myself, and waddya know, i dont feel nasty after eating it.
btw, finally saw "Super Size Me" a few days ago, and holy crap, that's a scary movie.
