Yes, doubling speakers equates to 3db of gain which equates to 1.23 of "loudness" it does not double your loudness

Never said it did..........

I said it was exactly the same as doubling your wattage output - +3db

To "double" your loudness requires 10X the wattage.

I'd argue that point....somewhat. I play a 575 watt head through a 210 4 ohm cab and it completely destroys my buddies 300 watt head going through an 8 ohm 410.
