Awesome looking bass. Love the LPB with matching headstock and I'm a huge fan of Rosewood with white blocks. And of course Tortoise will only make it look sweeter.
I'm not the OP, but I love that bass...LPB is lovely - nice bass. Curious - why the three-bolt neck on that one...?
Thinking that would mean never playing it!!!.....Bad idea...Congrats on a really nice bass. Now, just keep it as nice as the original owner.![]()
Best coffee I ever drank!....I have never heard of "Fender" is it a good brand?

UPS pulled up and I got her unboxed, etc. She's an American Vintage Reissue (Special Edition) made in 2003. Research says that 75 of these (in this color) were made for the U.S. market and 30 for overseas. She's stunning in person. Bass is in very good overall condition. She's pretty light-weight (I'm guessing between 8.5 and 9 lbs). Compares very favorably to some Fender Custom Shop basses I've owned and put my hands on.
Sounds amazing. The 70's pickup spacing is the shinizit. I need to give her a minor setup, etc (action is now medium-low).
Came with the original hardshell case and ALL the case-candy (Fender inspection sign-offs, Fender sticker, tags (including price), Fender sticker, manual, warranty, cord, strap, etc, etc, etc). The bag with the ashtrays, manual, keys, etc, etc is still sealed and I don't plan on opening it (as I don't really need anything in there). Winner-winner-chicken-dinner!!!!
