There's a music store near my house that has one of those, although I'm not sure if it's AVRI, or Custom Shop.

Lake Placid Blue rocks! I've always been a sunburst guy myself, until I played this thing and couldn't say no.
Vintage Reissue types tend to be authentic to the year, so I'm guessing this is early 70s when they had the 3 bolt necks?
Yeah... but I sure don't recall LPB basses from back then. Of course, I only started playing in '76....
There's just something about a Fender with blocks and a matching headstock - really nice. Congrats!

Wow. I've been looking at these for a bit and wish I could add one to my collection. I have a sherwood green jazz with matching headstock and a candy apple red with matching headstock.
