Hi. I turned up to practise today, plugged in my brand new Ampeg svt6 pro..the peak light lit up for a couple of seconds then went out..now no lights go on! I've tried different power leads but still no result. Then i tried a guitar amp and it won't even go on now. The power where we are is obviously still working cus it's powering other things. I then brought the gear from the garage in to the house and it still won't work. Anyone any idea of whatthe problem is?

URGENT Amp Question!!

I would check the fuse on the Ampeg- there should be a way to get it out from the back of the amp (a little circular plate with a notch for a flat-head screwdriver. After changing the fuse, I would probably take it to an amp technician- as there may be some larger problem. I had an Ampeg SVT IV Pro for awhile and this happened to me- they eneded up having to replace the whole power amp section- luckily it was still under warranty!
