If I had found myself in that situation I would have just continued with the reformat, it's her fault for putting the files in a folder on the computer anyway!

Urgent computer reformat question...

The thought crossed my mind, because I knew I'd b e in for a pain in the tail trying to recover them if I canceled the format. I would have felt really bad if I didn't try to recover them, however. Luckily it worked out well, and I acquired the software and learned ways to scan if HD problems ever arise again.If I had found myself in that situation I would have just continued with the reformat, it's her fault for putting the files in a folder on the computer anyway!
