While our economy is not a zero-sum game, it is also not capable of growing infinitely quickly to any size. MOST of the gains experienced have come about through extracting from lower earning groups as opposed to growth of the overall economy.
...and the Romans thought "bread and circuses" would keep them going, but it didn't.
Either the inequality keeps getting worse or it doesn't. If it does, eventually there will be violent revolution.

Europe's heading that way. 6 weeks of vacation are a given. They do live in smaller houses use less energy and don't drive as many cars as we do.

The promise of unlimited fusion energy has been going on for over 50 years. Generations of scientists have made comfortable livings in that research field. It's always just over the horizon.
We're no closer to fusion energy now than we were 50 years ago. Not that I'll be around, but I'd bet my whole bass collection that there won't be successful fusion energy in 50 or 100 years.
This isn't the rich. These are mostly boot strap entrepreneurs.
They are proof you can get rich in the US without massive initial capital.

But the footnote means that the numbers given tell you nothing about group A extracting wealth from group B. For that to happen, group B would have to end up with less wealth than they started with. There's no information as to that here.

We've now managed to sustain fusion reactions that generate around 80% of the power input. That number was more like 10% 50 years ago.

Doctors and lawyers will be hit the hardest with the rise of tuition costs. Sounds like wealth redistribution right there.
AS AN ECONOMIC CONSERVATIVE, lemme tell you something: the Right's assertion that wealth creates more wealth and helps everyone or that low taxes creates jobs is absolutely untrue.
If you were wealthy why would you EVER subject yourself to dealing with employees, manufacturing costs, government regulations, etc etc when you can simply invest in overseas companies and not have to worry about ANY repercussions?
The jury is in: we gave the wealthy everything we could possibly give them and they simply took the money and ran and got to live in a free country for free. All the DATA and FACTS prove this.

No. Those with the most barriers to entering higher education will be hit the most. Those students generally don't go on to become the doctors and lawyers of the world.
