Here's the evolution of my Utility Gig Bags. I consider them essential equipment. As time has gone on, I've ended up carrying a complete spares kit, including strings for the guitarist and a drum head key, etc.
Here's the very first one I ever had, a present from my mother. It's sure seen some miles...
Here's my 'cool' bag (ha). It's a nice messenger type bag, but has limited utility. I usually carry all of my cables, power supplies, and extra pedals in it.
And here's my Grand Master Utility Bag. I picked it up over 20 years ago. I live in the country, and went to a barn sale. There it was - a large animal veterinary bag for $1.50. I asked the guy if he'd flip a coin with me for it - double or nothing. So, I only had to pay $3 for a way sweet leather bag with a zinger of a zipper and extra reinforcement throughout. This has
really been through the mill, but is still going strong. Won't leave home without it!
Thanks for starting the thread, I've been thinking out this too for a while now.
